Schein was the guru of organization cultures back in the 70's. In spite of advertising this book has "updates" it is very outdated. References are drawn from scholars from the 50's and earlier. I would recommend the reader to go to HBR Classics articles or other sources that are more up to date.Product details

Great update to a classic!
This version is missing entire chapters! My professor uses the 3rd addition and this is the 5th and many many things are not included in the electronic version.
A solid primer on organizational culture. This book should be a must-read for anyone serious about being deliberate with the culture side of their organization.
Required for Organizational Culture class, lots of great examples of organizations that are not Netflix and Apple. Well written, easily digested.
I'm glad I read this book early when researching a paper. It's a great introduction to organizational culture.
